The InstaCuppa Rechargeable Aroma Oil Diffuser is a waterless essential oil diffuser: it turns pure essential oil from a 20 ml amber glass bottle into a fine mist, with no water and no heat. How do the mist settings and timer work?
Each mist setting is a 3-minute cycle: the number on the top is how many seconds it mists in every cycle, and the rest of the cycle it pauses.
- 15S: mists for 15 seconds, then pauses for 165 seconds.
- 60S: mists for 60 seconds, then pauses for 120 seconds.
- 120S: mists for 120 seconds, then pauses for 60 seconds.
Long-press the power key to switch it on or off, and tap it to move between 120S, 60S and 15S. Tap the timer key for 1H, 2H or 3H; the diffuser switches itself off when the time is up, and tapping again turns the timer off. With no timer set, it runs until the battery or the oil runs out. A small green dot shows which setting is on.
How long does the battery last, and how do you charge it?
The built-in 2000 mAh lithium-ion battery gives up to 30 hours of intermittent use on one charge. It charges by USB-C in 2–3 hours, from a laptop, power bank, wall adapter or car charger.

Which essential oils can you use?
