Vacuum Insulated Water Bottle Meaning in Hindi and English

Quick answer: A vacuum insulated water bottle is a steel bottle with two walls and almost no air in the gap between them. Heat cannot cross that empty gap easily, so hot drinks stay hot and cold drinks stay cold for hours. In Hindi, it is usually just called a "thermos" (tharmas) or a "nirvaat flask". The Hindi word nirvaat means vacuum, or "without air".

In simple Hinglish: vacuum insulated bottle ka matlab hai ek double-wall steel bottle jo paani ko ghanton tak garam ya thanda rakhti hai.

The idea is more than 130 years old. James Dewar invented the vacuum flask in 1892. The near-empty gap cuts the heat that moves by touch (conduction) and by moving air (convection). Getting Started

1. Before first use, wash the bottle, the lids and the infuser with warm soapy water. Rinse well.
2. Choose your lid. Use the sports sipper lid (it has a handle) for cold drinks, the gym and travel. Use the wide mouth lid for hot drinks. Our product page says it keeps tea hot for longer.
3. For hot drinks, pre-heat the bottle. Fill it with hot water, wait a few minutes, then pour it out and add your drink. Thermos gives the same tip for the best heat retention.
4. For cold drinks, pre-chill it the same way with cold water.
5. Fill the bottle and close the lid fully.

Using the Fruit Infuser

1. Take the infuser out of the bottle.
2. Fill it with washed, sliced fruit, herbs, or both.
3. Put the infuser back and fill the bottle with cold water.
4. Close it and keep it in the fridge while it infuses. Taste it now and then, and take the fruit out when the flavour is right for you.

Good to know: Keep the lid closed between sips. Each time you open it, warm or cold air swaps with the air inside.

How to Clean Your Bottle

Regular cleaning stops smells and keeps your bottle clean. Rinse it with warm water after every use. Use a bottle brush and mild dish soap on the inside. Wash the lids on their own, and clean every groove in them. Leave the bottle open to air-dry fully.

Daily Clean

1. Rinse with warm water after every use.
2. Use a bottle brush and mild dish soap on the inside.
3. Wash the lids separately, and clean every groove in them.
4. Leave the bottle open to air-dry fully.

Deep Clean (for odours or stains)

1. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda, fill the bottle with warm water and let it soak.
2. Scrub with a bottle brush, then rinse thoroughly.
3. For tea or coffee stains, Thermos suggests two denture tablets in hot water, left overnight, then a wash with soap and water. For smells, a little white vinegar or lemon juice in water also helps.

Avoid: Bleach and chlorine cleaners. Thermos says never to use bleach on its bottles. Hand washing is also kinder to the finish than the dishwasher.
