Method 1: Portable Soda Maker (Best Overall)

This is the method I use daily. A portable soda maker uses a small CO2 capsule to carbonate cold water in about 30 seconds.

What you need:

Why I do not recommend it:

• High-pressure CO2 tanks are dangerous if mishandled.
• Requires technical knowledge to set up safely.

This method is for DIY hobbyists who understand gas handling. Not for family kitchens.

• Budget experiment: Baking soda + citric acid. Try it once to see if you even like fizzy water.
• Heavy daily use in a metro: Cylinder soda maker. If you can find a dealer nearby.
