Check the sum yourself: at Rs 7.5 a unit, 9 units a month is Rs 67.50. Any "Rs 20 a month" claim for a daily ten-minute dry on an 1,800 watt dryer does not survive that arithmetic. It only works if you dry for three minutes.

What wattage is best for Indian hair?

For most Indian hair, 1,800 to 2,000 watts is the sweet spot. It dries thick and long hair fast. A model below 1,400 watts feels slow on heavy hair. A very high wattage dries quickest but adds more heat. So pick a mid-high model and use a lower setting.
