Where Is the Water Leaking From?
The fix depends on where the leak is. Check all three areas:
- Under the water tank — the tank is not seated properly or the seal is dirty. Remove the tank, clean the seal area, and push it back until it clicks.
- Around the adapter/brew head — the adapter is not locked in. Twist it tighter. Check for coffee grounds stuck in the gasket. Wipe clean.
- From the bottom of the machine — this is usually an internal gasket or hose problem. A defect. Contact support.
How to Fix Common Leaks at Home
- Clean the tank seal — wipe the rubber ring on the tank and the connector with a damp cloth. Mineral deposits can prevent a tight fit.
- Reseat the adapter firmly — push in and twist clockwise until you feel resistance. A half-turn causes drips.
- Replace the adapter gasket — after 6-12 months of daily use, the rubber ring on the adapter wears thin. A replacement costs Rs 100-200.
- Descale the machine — limescale can warp internal tubes. Regular descaling prevents pressure buildup that causes leaks.
When Should You Return the Machine?
