How Do You Remove the Ice Ball From an InstaCuppa Fruit Infuser Bottle?

The InstaCuppa fruit infuser ice ball is a reusable ice-gel ball that sits on the bottom end of the infuser rod in the Polar edition bottle. To remove it, take the infuser rod out of the bottle and pull the ice ball down off the rod. To reattach it, fit it back onto the bottom end of the rod and put the rod back in the bottle.

Steps to remove the ice ball

  1. Open the bottle. Unscrew the lid from the bottle.
  2. Take out the infuser rod. Lift the long infuser rod out of the bottle. Our video shows this step with the words: "Take off the infusion rod from the bottle."
  3. Pull the ice ball down. Hold the rod in one hand and pull the ice ball down and off the end of the rod. The video says: "Pull down the ICE BALL to remove it."
  4. Freeze or wash it. Put the ice ball in the freezer, or wash it by hand with mild soap.

Steps to reattach the ice ball

  1. Freeze it first. Our product page says to deep freeze the ice ball for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  2. Fill the rod. Put your cut fruit into the infuser rod.
  3. Fit the ice ball back on. Fit the frozen ice ball back onto the bottom end of the rod until it sits firmly. The video calls this step: "Reattach the ICEBALL."
  4. Close the bottle. Put the rod back in the bottle, pour in chilled or normal water, and close and lock the lid.

The ice ball is a closed ice-gel ball. You freeze it as it is, and there is nothing to fill or open. Check it for cracks before each use. If it ever looks cracked or you see gel outside it, stop using it and contact InstaCuppa support.

Can I use the bottle without the ice ball attached?
