5. Vermicelli (sevai) — Saute thin vermicelli in oil for 1 min. Add water, salt, turmeric. Cover and cook 5 min. Multicook only. Time: 8 min.

Lunch & Dinner Recipes (6-12)

6. Maggi noodles — Boil water, add noodles and tastemaker, cook 3 min. Any kettle. Time: 5 min.

7. Pasta — Boil water with salt, add pasta, cook 8-10 min. Drain. Any kettle. Time: 12 min.

8. Plain rice — Add 1 cup rice and 2 cups water. Boil, then simmer on low 12 min. Multicook best. Time: 15 min.

9. Dal (moong) — Wash moong dal, add 3 cups water, salt, turmeric. Boil 15 min. Multicook best. Time: 18 min.

10. Khichdi — Mix rice and dal 1:1. Add 3 cups water, salt, turmeric. Boil 15 min. Multicook best. Time: 18 min.

11. Ramen — Boil water, add ramen noodles and seasoning. Cook 4 min. Any kettle. Time: 6 min.

12. Soup (instant) — Boil water, add soup mix, stir 2 min. Any kettle. Time: 4 min.

Snacks & Drinks (13-18)

13. Chai — Add water and milk, boil, add tea powder and sugar. Simmer 2 min. Multicook best. Time: 5 min.

14. Hot chocolate — Heat milk, add cocoa powder and sugar. Stir well. Multicook best for milk. Time: 4 min.

15. Boiled vegetables — Boil water, add chopped carrots, beans, peas. Cook 8 min. Any kettle. Time: 10 min.

16. Corn on the cob — Boil water, add corn. Cook 10 min. Large multicook best. Time: 12 min.

17. Atta noodles — Same as Maggi method but cook 1 min longer. Any kettle. Time: 6 min.

18. Steamed momos — Place momos on a small steel plate above boiling water. Cover and steam 8 min. Needs a steamer tray. Time: 10 min.

Multicook-Only Recipes (19-20)

19. Pancake — Add butter to the non-stick pot on low heat. Pour batter. Cook 2 min per side. Flip with silicone spatula. Multicook non-stick only. Time: 5 min per pancake.

20. French toast — Dip bread in egg-milk mixture. Cook in buttered non-stick pot, 2 min per side. Multicook non-stick only. Time: 5 min per slice.
